Standard Concrete Industries is committed to the provision and maintenance of a healthy, and safe work environment for all our employees, contractors and visitors.

Standard COncrete Industries is committed to provide and maintain equipment that complies with applicable regulations, providing approaching safety equipment, training employees in safe place operating practices and establishing and enforcing safe work policies and procedures.

Managers and Supervisors have the responsibility and will be held accountable for safety in their areas in the same that they are responsible and accountable for sound operating practices that maximises productivity and return on assets.

 

Occupational health and safety is an integral part of our business and is a key component of Standard Concrete Industries performance measures for Managers and Supervisors.

Standard Concrete Industries also recognize that employees have duty and obligation to perform their work safely by following safe working procedures using proper safely equipment and by reporting or correcting unsafe acts or conditions.

Management will consult and co-operate with the Health and Safety Committee in health and safety matters as provided under section 21 of the Act and the Health and Safety at Work ( Representative and Committees) Regulations, 1997.
